Personal Data may be freely provided by the User, or, in case of Usage Data, collected automatically when using this Application.

Device permissions for Personal Data access

Depending on the User’s specific device, this Application may request certain permissions that allow it to access the User’s device Data as described below.

By default, these permissions must be granted by the User before the respective information can be accessed. Once the permission has been given, it can be revoked by the User at any time. In order to revoke these permissions, Users may refer to the device settings or contact the Owner for support at the contact details provided in the present document.
The exact procedure for controlling app permissions may be dependent on the User’s device and software.

Geolocation (this Application)

This Application may collect, use, and share User location Data in order to provide location-based services. Most browsers and devices provide tools to opt out from this feature by default. If explicit authorization has been provided, the User’s location data may be tracked by this Application.

Data Retention Policy

Retention of Personal Data, Including Face Data
We retain personal data (including biometric face data) for as long as necessary for the purpose(s) for which it has been collected, in accordance with applicable laws and regulations.
For face data specifically:
Retention Period: Face data is stored for a maximum of 1 year. After this time, it is automatically deleted, and users must reverify their identity by capturing a new face photo, which is then stored for the next 1-year period.
Third-Party Sharing: Face data is shared exclusively with AWS Rekognition for verification purposes. AWS Rekognition processes face data only during authentication and does not retain it beyond this purpose.
Face data is not shared with any other third parties, nor is it sold.
For other personal data types, retention periods may vary based on the purposes for which the data was collected, applicable laws, and ongoing legitimate needs (e.g., compliance with legal obligations, dispute resolution, or fee collection).

Regula

I consent to Regula’s capture, collection, use, retention, processing, and disclosure of information derived from scanning and verifying the barcode or other features of my identification documents for the purpose of verifying my identity pursuant to Regula’s Privacy Policy. Regula shall store the data until no longer needed for identity verification purposes or as specified in its Data Retention Policy. IDScan.net

I consent to IDScan.net’s capture, collection, use, retention, processing, and disclosure of data derived from my identification documents, including data verified against DMV databases via the AAMVA network, for the purpose of verifying my identity in accordance with IDScan.net’s Privacy Policy. Amazon Rekognition

I consent to Amazon Rekognition’s capture, collection, use, retention, processing, and disclosure of biometric information, including facial geometry data and liveness detection results, for the purpose of verifying my identity in accordance with Amazon’s Privacy Policy. User
